General Rental Terms and Conditions of Doffay Booking Hub FZCO

1. Services of Doffay Booking Hub FZCO

Doffay Booking Hub FZCO, incorporated in Dubai, UAE, provides international vehicle rental brokerage services to private and business customers (“Customer”). Through its platform www.doffaycarrental.com, Customers can book rental vehicles in Seychelles and other destinations.

Services include:

• Vehicle booking and confirmation,

• Coordination with local partner car rental companies,

• Payment processing through Doffay Booking Hub,

• Customer support before, during, and after rental.

Doffay Booking Hub FZCO acts exclusively as a broker. Vehicle provision and use are subject to these General Terms and Conditions and the Specific Rental Terms of the local rental partner.

2. Contractual Relationships

2.1 The booking contract is concluded between the Customer and Doffay Booking Hub FZCO.
2.2 Vehicle rental is fulfilled by a local partner company in Seychelles (Doffay Car Rental, Blanco Cars, Silk Cars, or ALVIS Cars). The actual vehicle is provided under a separate agreement between the Customer and the local partner.
2.3 By confirming a booking, the Customer authorizes Doffay Booking Hub FZCO to subcontract the rental to one of the above local partners.

3. Booking & Payment

3.1 Bookings are made via the website or approved distribution partners.
3.2 Full payment is processed through Doffay Booking Hub in advance by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, or other internationally recognized cards) via Stripe.
3.3 Prices are displayed in EUR or USD, unless otherwise indicated.

4. Deposits & No-Deposit Policy

4.1 Doffay Booking Hub FZCO operates a strict “No Deposit” policy. Customers are not required to provide a deposit upon collection.
4.2 Customers remain fully liable for damages, traffic fines, or costs arising from vehicle misuse, as per the partner’s Specific Rental Terms.

5. Vehicle Collection & Use

5.1 Customers must present a valid driving licence, passport/ID, and booking confirmation voucher.
5.2 Vehicles may only be driven by the main driver and any additional drivers listed in the booking.
5.3 Use of vehicles is limited to Seychelles public roads and must comply with local traffic regulations.

6. Insurance & Liability

6.1 All rentals include third-party liability insurance in accordance with Seychelles law.
6.2 Optional coverage upgrades (CDW, Theft Protection, Full Protection) may be offered at the time of booking.
6.3 Damage caused by negligence, off-road use, or unlisted drivers is excluded from coverage.

7. Modifications & Cancellations

7.1 Booking modifications (dates, times, vehicle category) must be requested via Doffay Booking Hub and confirmed in writing.
7.2 Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before rental start. After this time, the full rental fee applies.
7.3 Refunds are made to the original payment method, less any applicable fees.

8. Responsibilities of the Customer

• Use the vehicle responsibly and in compliance with Seychelles traffic laws.

• Pay all tolls, fines, and penalties incurred during the rental period.

• Return the vehicle at the agreed time and location.

• Report accidents, theft, or damage immediately to the rental partner and Doffay Booking Hub.

9. Liability of Doffay Booking Hub

9.1 Doffay Booking Hub FZCO acts only as an intermediary and is not the direct lessor of vehicles.
9.2 The local partner is responsible for the condition, availability, and operation of the vehicle.
9.3 Doffay Booking Hub assumes no liability for delays, cancellations, or failures attributable to the Customer or local partner, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of Doffay Booking Hub.

10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts.
