We make it easy to rent a car online. Payments can be made with credit cards or in cash, online or on-site.

Car Rental Payment Policy

Easy Online Car Rental

Renting a car online is straightforward with our service. You can make payments either online or on-site, using credit cards or cash.

Payment Terms

  • Invoice Payment: Payment is required upon vehicle pickup. For long-term rentals, specific payment terms will be outlined in the business and technical cooperation agreement.
  • Tariff: Charges are based on the current tariff at the time of signing the rental agreement. Late payments may incur legal default interest and warning letter fees.
  • Rental Period: The rental rate is calculated daily, with one day equating to 24 hours from the signing of the rental agreement and delivery of the vehicle.
  • Final Payment: The final payment and calculation will occur upon vehicle return, following an inspection for damage, fuel levels, mileage, cleanliness, and additional equipment.

Payment Methods

  • Online Payment: Acceptable methods include VISA, Maestro, or MasterCard credit cards.
  • Card Decline: If a payment is declined, you will be notified via email and requested to provide an alternative payment method. Declines may be due to insufficient funds, daily limits, or incorrect addresses. Reservations may be canceled if an alternative payment method is not provided within 24 hours.
  • Card Information: Ensure accurate entry of credit card details to avoid reservation cancellation or price changes. By reserving, you accept financial responsibility for all transactions.

Payment Processing

  • Accepted Cards: Payments are accepted from VISA, Maestro, or MasterCard cards that support online transactions. Transactions are processed through the DPO Payment Gateway, ensuring secure and certified handling.

Data Protection

  • Secure Transactions: Card information is transmitted securely via SSL protocols and tokenization, adhering to PCI-DSS standards. Payment details are not visible to the service provider.
  • 3D Secure Protection: All transactions are safeguarded by 3D Secure for enhanced security.
  • PCI DSS Compliance: Our payment gateway adheres to PCI-DSS Level 1 standards, ensuring the highest security level and protecting cardholder data throughout the process.

Refunds

  • Credit Card Refunds: Refunds for payments made by credit card will be processed back to the original card used. Refunds will be executed by our bank to the cardholder's account.
  • Bank Transfer Refunds: Refunds can also be made via bank transfer. To process a bank transfer refund, please provide your full name, address, country, IBAN, and SWIFT code.

Currency and Conversion

  • Currency: Payments are processed in Euros (€). Foreign payment cards will have transactions converted into the cardholder’s local currency based on Visa/MasterCard exchange rates.

Verification

  • Card Verification: To prevent fraud, we may verify your credit card with your bank and may request a copy of your ID and credit card via fax or email.
