- The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21, and the maximum age is 70. If you are between 18-21 or 71-99 years old, you can still rent a vehicle, but an additional young driver or senior driver fee will apply. The fee amount depends on the rental rate.
- What is the deposit amount?

- There is no deposit required.
- Is it necessary to provide a flight number when making a reservation?

- Providing your flight number helps us monitor your arrival and track any delays. Without this information, if your flight is delayed, we may assume you will not arrive and the vehicle may be rented to another customer.
- What if the branch office is closed when I want to pick up the vehicle?

- Our branch offices operate 24/7.
- What should I do if my flight is delayed or canceled?

- If we have your flight information, we can monitor the situation. However, we advise contacting the branch office as soon as possible to inform us of any changes. For canceled flights, contact us immediately to modify or cancel your reservation.
- What do I need to bring when picking up the vehicle?

- Please present your driver’s license and either a passport or ID card. You will also need to choose your level of insurance, as our rates typically include at least basic insurance. The vehicle will be handed to you with a full tank of fuel, and you are required to return it with a full tank. Failure to do so will result in charges for refueling and the cost of any missing fuel. You will receive a rental agreement, which you should read and sign, along with the keys to the vehicle, a copy of the rental agreement, and a pre-rental damage report. Please inspect the vehicle to note its condition before taking possession.
- Can I extend my vehicle rental?

- Can I change or cancel my reservation?

- After booking, you will receive a confirmation with your reservation number. To change or cancel your reservation, you can use the Change or Cancel reservation option, or contact us by telephone at +248 2573196 or via email at reservation@doffaycars.com with your reservation number.
- What is the amount for Third Party Liability?

- If you have paid a fee, any refunds will have the bank transaction fee deducted. If payment is due on arrival, you may cancel your booking at any time without incurring additional charges.
- At the airport, how do I find Doffay Car Rental?

- We have a kiosk at the airport just outside the arrival hall. If you cannot find anyone to help, please proceed to the customer office desk in the arrival hall and ask them to call us at +248 2573196 or +248 2573195.

- What if I have a flat tire?

If You have a compact spare tire in the vehicle, set it on and contact our nearest rent-a-car branch office to inform us of the event, then make Your own repair or arrange with us a replacement vehicle or a tire repair.
If You have a tire repair kit, apply it, or contact our nearest rent-a-car branch office to inform us of the event and arrange with us a replacement vehicle or a tire repair.
If You do not have a spare tire in the vehicle or a tire repair kit, contact our nearest rent-a-car branch office.
After returning the vehicle, be sure to once more inform the branch office of the event.
- What if the key is damaged or lost?

Contact our nearest rent-a-car branch office.
We will deliver a replacement key within 24 hours of receiving the call.
The cost of losing the key in the amount of 300,00 to 500,00 euro, depending
on the vehicle type, is borne by the vehicle user.
- What if I return the rental vehicle with less fuel in the tank?

At the pickup and on drop off the tank should be full.
If You return Your rental vehicle with less fuel than at pick up, You will be charged for the Fuel as per our rate.
- If I have an accident during rental

- Can my credit card be charged after the rental period?

Should a subsequent charge be needed, You will be notified by phone or via e-mail.
Possible reasons for subsequent charges:
- unpaid parking tickets obtained during the rental period
- obtained traffic fines during the rental period
- damages discovered upon return of the vehicle if you were not present at the time
- lack of fuel in the tank upon return of the vehicle if you were not present at the time.
-If you do not settle any parking or traffic violation fines during the rental period, You will
be charged the fine + administrative expenses
