Are the kilometres always unlimited?

Yes unlimited Mileage.

Is there an age limit for reserving a vehicle?

Yes, there is. In general, the minimum age is 21, and the maximum age is 70.

 

If You are 18 – 21 or 71 - 99 years of age, You can rent a vehicle, but with additional Young driver fee or Senior driver fee added, whose price depends on the rental rate used.

 

In any case, the vehicle can be operated only by a person with more than 18 years of age and a person in possession of a valid driver's license. The Traffic Laws allows no exception..

Is it necessary to state the number of the flight in the reservation?

When You state the number of the flight in the reservation, it enables us to monitor Your arrival and therefore we will be able to check eventual delays of the flight.

 

Without this information, in case of a delay, we can assume that you will not arrive at all and the vehicle reserved for You might be rented to another customer.

What if the branch office is closed at the time I want to pick up the vehicle?

My flight is late or cancelled, now what do I do?

If Your flight is late and we have Your flight information, we will be able to monitor the situation.

 

But, in any case, we advise You to contact the branch office of Your reservation in order to inform us about the new situation. If the flight was cancelled, contact us as soon as possible to modify or cancel Your reservation.

What is needed when picking up the vehicle?

When picking up the vehicle it is necessary to present:

 

- Your driver's license

 

- credit or debit card that can be preauthorized

 

- passport or ID card.

 

Since the price of rental may or may not include insurance, the agent will ask You what level of insurance You would like to have. Our rates mostly include at least basic insurance, but please make sure to read the part regarding insurances. The vehicle will be handed to You with a full tank of fuel and You are obligated to return it with a full tank. If not, You will be charged for refueling services as well as the difference of fuel which is missing in the tank.

 

 You will receive a rental agreement in order to read and sign. All significant costs as well as the insurance You have chosen will be included in it. Subsequently You will receive the keys to the vehicle, a copy of the rental agreement and pre-rental damage report.

 

 You should examine the vehicle in order to establish the condition of the vehicle You are taking possesion of. This procedure is necessary to define eventual new damage done during Your rental

May I extend the rental of the vehicle?

If You wish to extend the rental, contact the local branch office where You have picked the vehicle up or our Reservation center by telephone on +385 (0)21 399 000 or via info@rentacarsubrosa.com e-mail.

Can a reservation be changed or cancelled?

After You have booked the reservation on our website, You will receive a confirmation with Your reservation number.

 

If You want or need to change the reservation, just choose Change or Cancel reservation. Alternatively, You can contact us with Your reservation number by telephone on +385 (0)21 399 000 or via info@rentacarsubrosa.com e-mail.

What if I have a flat tire?

If You have a compact spare tire in the vehicle, set it on and contact our nearest rent-a-car branch office to inform us of the event, then make Your own repair or arrange with us a replacement vehicle or a tire repair.

 

If You have a tire repair kit, apply it, or contact our nearest rent-a-car branch office to inform us of the event and arrange with us a replacement vehicle or a tire repair.

 

If You do not have a spare tire in the vehicle or a tire repair kit, contact our nearest rent-a-car branch office.

 

After returning the vehicle, be sure to once more inform the branch office of the event.

What if the key is damaged or lost?

Contact our nearest rent-a-car branch office.

 

We will deliver a replacement key within 24 hours of receiving the call.

 

The cost of losing the key in the amount of 300,00 to 500,00 EUR+VAT, depending

 

on the vehicle type, is borne by the vehicle user.

What if I return the rental vehicle with less fuel in the tank?

At the pickup and on drop off the tank should be full.

 

If You return Your rental vehicle with less fuel than at pick up, You will be charged for the

 

refuelling service 20,00 EUR plus the missing fuel plus VAT.S

If I have an accident during rental

Can my credit card be charged after the rental period?

Should a subsequent charge be needed, You will be notified by phone or via e-mail.

 

Possible reasons for subsequent charges:

 

- unpaid parking tickets obtained during the rental period

 

- obtained traffic fines during the rental period

 

- damages discovered upon return of the vehicle if you were not present at the time

 

- lack of fuel in the tank upon return of the vehicle if you were not present at the time.

 

-If you do not settle any parking or traffic violation fines during the rental period, You will

be charged the fine + administrative expenses

 

All available original documents of the competent authorities will be forwarded to You via e-mail.
